The Here and the Now Generation: Are consumed by the activities of the day such as employment and existence.  However their overriding concern is for there recreation and entertainment to take there mind off of the everyday necessities of life.  The major portion of which is Drinking and dancing. Then there are the TV shows, and the social networks like, "The Internet""YouTube"& "Twitter""My Space" "Facebook""IPhones" "Tabets"and the many others.  But does this change the consequences of this kind of life.

Matthew 7:21-27 21 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Jesus Christ said he never knew them, but who were they?  (They were the religious crowd V22, they did all the church wanted of them, and did many wonderful works, however he never knew them.   Religious works do not replace the will of God)   Matthew 7:24-27 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Jesus example of the prodigal son demonstrates leaving the here and now generation for the hereafter is the proof of God's love. Luke 15:11-24  11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:  12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. 13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. (He was the here and now generation of his day)14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. 15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.  16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.  17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!  18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,  19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. ( That was true repentance) 20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.  ( Notice the Father was looking and waiting for him)  21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. ( Then he was received as though he never sined)  22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:  23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:  24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

So wake up from the deception of this world as did the prodigal, and God will receive you!  To do that Press Here

Remember God's Word expects us to put our feet under our prayers.  This is no time to be apathetic,  or passive.  It is time to take a stand and be resolute in what we believe, and why we believe it, or the opportunity to speak it, and share it will be gone forever.  So investigate all so-called authorities and let facts, make your decisions not your opinions or emotions or that of others.

Now go do what is right in the eyes of the Lord and may your decisions bring you the promise Romans 8:28 " And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. " And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
