Thank you for visiting our web site, and for inquiring about God's plan for the FUTURE.   The Bible is the only reliable source of information about the future for that lies with the sovereign will of God. While I do not venerate the King James Version, every study must have an authority and I trust the KJV to be that authority.

God's plan for the future is clearly stated in the Scriptures as two fold.

God's ultimate plan for the future of mankind is being implemented. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." (John 3:16-17) "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." (2 Cor. 5:17-19)

This first part of God's plan for man is that of saving mankind from the penalty of sin and making them a part of His family.  That is still going on for God is patient and does not want any to perish.. Consider:2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

The Scriptures assures the future of all in Christ will be with Him. Consider: John 14:1-3 "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.  The Apostle Paul had that assurance. " We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." (2 Cor. 5:8)

God's ultimate plan for the future of mankind must wait for our leaving our present bodies The Scriptures assures the future of all in Christ will be a state of perfection.  1 John 3:2 "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."

God's plan is that mans future is ultimately to be with Him, in the fullness of His image and likeness.  Consider: 1 Cor. 15:48-58 "As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

The second phase of God's plan for the future of mankind is to deal with Gentile rule before setting up His Kingdom on earth.  The Scriptures predict there will be a seven years of tribulation preceding that time. The first half (3 yrs. ) will bring the rise of anti-christ who will be behind the developing of a one world government, and one world money less economic system along with a one world religion by which they will later control the world, for 3 more years.  Consider the United Nations and other coalitions of countries are being drawn ever more tightly together as a result of the terrorist attacks on America and around the world, this may be the catalyst for the further development of the one world government.  Consider the Euro, the new currency being used by the European Common Market nations has been accepted by the world banking system and may well be the forerunner that will later develop into one world money less debit and credit economic system, developed in America, needed to control the word.  Consider the coalition of liberal and apostate religions in the Ecumenical Movement and the World Council of Churches. They may well be the forerunner of the one world religious system.  They are being drawn together with other religions of the New Age movement that misuse the doctrine of tolerance.  A system that will later give itself over to the one world order and anti-christ, Known today as Globalism.

This doctrine of tolerance at any price is the downfall of both nations and churches.  Could Islam be another possibility, as it is a Theocratic Religious Political system and the fastest growing religion in America ever since Sept. 11 2001?

Israel will be back in their land.  That began in 1948 and through a series of miraculous wars, they are presently occupying most of the land given them by the Lord.  The Scriptures predict they would enter into a pact with their enemies lead by the anti-christ that would bring about a false peace.  The most prominent of which are the Arab nations and Moslems.  This is the age-old contention between the decedents of Isaac [Israel] and the decedents of Ishmael [Arabs].  There will be no real peace in Israel until this conflict is settled by Christ, not the UN or America.

During that time there will be talk of peace, but there will be class and civil wars, famine and shortages of supplies resulting in death of 1/4th of worlds' population.  There will be great persecution and many martyrs of the saints.  There will be an increase in the number and intensity of disturbances on earth and in the heavens.  [Rev. Chapters. 5-6] Are we seeing this developing before our very eyes?  Consider the increase of earthquakes and volcanic activity now being reported.  If so, how far are we from the end of Gentile rule on earth?

During that time a faithful remnant of Israel will get saved and preach the Gospel world-wide.  These wittiness are all Jews, they are all men and all virgins, 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel making 144,000 in all. There will be many converts martyred during the tribulation period. [Rev. Chapter 7]

God then sends His first world-wide judgments on earth to bring all mankind to repentance that they may be saved.  Resulting in 1/3rd of the trees and grasses are burned, 1/3rd of the sea becomes blood, 1/3rd of the inhabitants die, 1/3 of all ships are destroyed. 1/3 part of the rivers and waters become poisoned, from which many die.  1/3 third part of the heavens [sun, moon, stars] are smitten resulting in a loss of 1/3 of the light. Creatures will be released that will hurt men so badly they will want to die. One half of the world's population has now died as a result of refusing to repent and turn their faith to Christ and be saved. [Rev. Chapters 8-9]

God now sends two more witnesses with supernatural powers.  Who after their ministry of 1260 days (3 yrs) is finished will be killed and after 3 days are resurrected, after which they will ascend to heaven in a cloud, as did Jesus Christ. Rev.11

During this time on earth, in heaven Christ is crowned the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  There is war in heaven where Satan has had entrance accusing the brethren before God day and night.  Satan is now cast out of heaven, and comes to earth.  Remember, Israel has been rebuilding their temple, but before the first sacrifice can be made Satan, having been cast down to earth, now takes up residence in the temple, declares himself to be god, demanding the worship of all.  He will force all to take a mark on the hand or forehead to identify those that have accepted him.  No one will be able to by or sell without it.  Those that do not take the mark will be beheaded making it literally impossible to exist without it.. The un-holy trinity [Satan, the anti-christ, and the false prophet] will now have full control of the world's population through the one world religion and government.  [Rev. Chapter 12]  The pact with Israel will be broken by Israel's enemies and they will make war with her. [Rev. Chapters12-15]

The enemies of Israel will have at that time a coalition with the kings of the east, that will join them in battle with Israel.  So then God allows their evil plan to come to pass making the way for them by drying up the Euphrates river.  For when the war takes place God wants the battle to be in place called Armageddon. [Rev. Chapters 15-16]

The one world religion the spiritual Babylon led by the anti-christ will no longer be needed and Satan does away with it.  Rev. Chapters17-18. The one world government, the political Babylon, will also fall to the direct dictatorship of Satan.  Then the rejecting world will come against Israel. [Rev. Chapters 17-18]

At that point, Christ will return with the saints. and defend Israel, destroying all her enemies.   After which Jesus will set up His kingdom on earth ending all Gentile rule of the earth for a thousand years.  During that time there will be true peace on earth, and good-will among men and nations.  During that time Christ will have the unholy trinity [Satan, the false Prophet, anti-christ,] bound in the pit of hell that they cannot tempt and torment those on earth while Christ and all the saved will be living and ruling the earth in righteousness.  That will be a time of bliss, utopia on earth, but it will come to an end when the un-holy trinity is let loose.  [Rev. Chapters 19-20]

Why does God allow this rebellion after Jesus thousand year righteous rule on earth?  Perhaps it is to do away with mans excuses.  Man has always claimed that he was tempted to evil by reason of his environment. However, even the people that were born during that time of perfection on earth, will rise up against God and Israel.  By this Jesus proves mans excuse to be a lie.  Man does what he wants to do as an act of his own free will.  Christ will destroy them all, after which they also will be resurrected, and tried at the Great White Throne of God, there to be condemned to the lake of fire forever.

After the judgment at the Great White Throne Christ will make a new heaven and new earth, where He and all His people will live forever together.  [Rev. Chapters 21-22]   This is the ultimate plan God has for the future of all mankind.  Sadly, however, few of the inhabitants of the earth have chosen to accept God's plan and provision to get there, and be a part of it.

If you are one of them, receive CHRIST TODAY before it is too late, and have the assurance of being with Him when He comes. For there is only way to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ. [John 1:11-12, 3:15-21, 36; 6:44, 14:6; Math. 7:13-14] to do so  Press Here

For those that are in the family of God remember the council and promise of the Lord. "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also" (John 14:1-3)  Consider:1 Thes. 4:13-5:2 "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night."

The third phase of God's plan for the future of mankind is to come for all those that are His suddenly without warning to take them up to heaven to be with Him.

This is what is called the rapture. When will that be? No one can say for sure.   But looking at the fact that the church is spoken of in the first three chapters of Revelation as being on earth, but is not spoken of on earth again until it comes back with Christ in chapter 19   It appears Christ had taken the church up to heaven to be with Him while the judgments and wrath of God are poured out on earth. Rev. Chapters 5-18

It appears the rapture will take place before the great tribulation period spoken of in the book of Revelation.  This is consistent with God's actions in the past. God took Enoch up to be with Him before the flood. [Gen. 5:22-24] Before God brought the flood, He provided Noah with an ark [a picture of those in Christ before the coming judgement] to be in it above God's judgement of the earth [Gen. chapters 6-8] God removed Lot and his family before he destroyed Sodom. [Gen. chapter 19]

What is causing the delay of Christ coming to judge the earth and end to Gentile rule so He can set up His kingdom on earth?   Consider: 2 Peter 3:1-18 "This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: 2That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: 3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 17Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. 18But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."

The delay for the Lord coming to judge this evil world, my friend, is that we have a faithful loving Lord, that is slow to bring judgment, "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

What should our response be to the knowledge of what awaits those who have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour?  While we await His coming, are we busy bringing the message of the saving work of Jesus Christ to this doomed and dying generation?  I pray so, and so does the Lord.

The forth phase of God's plan for the future of mankind is to be with Him eternally in His heavenly kingdom.  In which He makes a new heaven and a new earth.  Consider the Lords promise: John 14:1-3 "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

This is described in Rev. 21-22  However it is hard if not totally imposable for us to relate to as we have nothing so beautiful to compare it with. However we take it up in detail in unit 18 of the Family of God Bible Outlines.
