As to my position on authority while I do not venerate the King James Bible, I accept it as my only Biblical authority, as explained on this web-site. See Investigate the authority of the Scriptures on home page.
Scripture says in Proverbs 27:17 "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." Therefore I recognize I can make mistakes, but Godís is always right. So I welcome and solicit investigation and constructive comments on this site for its improvement or any errors. Concerning those who call themselves authorities, no one has ever put in writing either by mail or E- mail, evidence of errors of context in any teaching on this site. This site is dedicated to the LORD and YOU. Please let us know what you think of it and how we are doing, if you have any suggestions as to how we can improve this site, we would like to hear from you.
Silence speaks louder than words. In all these years,1995 to this day no one has written me of an error in quoting the King James Version of the Bible or its contextual rendition in this site, or the books "See The Shepherd And Bishop of Our Souls" or the "Family of God Bible Outlines" course offered by us, AMEN."
However one has questioned my teaching the pre-Tribulation, view of the rapture of the church in Unit 18 of the Family of God Bible Outlines. The simple truth is Jesus speaks of the church being on earth in the first three chapters of the book of Revelation, then no mention of it being on earth untill it comes back to earth with Him in chapter 19, My question is, where was it during the time spoken of during the tribulations Jesus spoke of from chapter 4 and chapter 19 when it came back with Him? My advice is to let Scripture interpret Scripture with the topic spoken of in the book itself, not by man's interpretations of it. Different denominations have different interpretations concerning the rapture (a theological term given to the taking up of believers by Christ) Some believe it is before the tribulation, others believe it is during the tribulation and still others believe it is after the tribulation.
I believe God is consistent with His actions in the past, therefore as He took the righteous seed of Seth, Noah and his family, out before the judgment of the Flood. Again God took Lot out before the judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah. He will also His take those who are His out before He brings the judgments of this world.
For as God said in Heb.13:8 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." Consider Psalm 103:17 - 22 "But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; 18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. 19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. 20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. 21 Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. 22 Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
